How quickly can I get an appointment?

In Nürnberg, Fürth and Erlangen usually within two to four working days, and for simple installations often the next day. For urgent cases there is an express appointment within 24 hours at a 30 % surcharge.

How long does the installation take?

A wall shelf is done in about 30 minutes, a TV wall mount in 45 to 60 minutes, a chest of drawers in an hour, a large wardrobe in two to three hours. We give you a realistic time window when booking.

Do I have to be at home during the installation?

Accepted Answer

At the start and for the sign-off, yes — in between, no. Many customers carry on working in the next room. Handover via neighbours or the property manager is also possible by arrangement.

Can I reschedule free of charge?

Accepted Answer

Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment — via the link in the confirmation email or a quick WhatsApp message. For later cancellations we charge a flat €25 for the reserved time.

Do you bring tools?

Always. Hammer drill with dust extraction, cross-line laser, cable detector, torque wrench, a complete plug assortment and diamond bits for tile. You do not need to prepare anything.

Is the quoted price really the final price?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We confirm the fixed price in writing before the appointment. If something turns out to be fundamentally different on site — a wall that will not hold a fixing, for instance — we discuss it with you before carrying on. No additional costs arise without your agreement.

Do you charge for travel?

In Nürnberg, Fürth and Stein travel is included in the fixed price. Beyond that we charge €0.60 per kilometre from the 20th kilometre — which, within our regular routes to Erlangen, Bamberg, Würzburg and so on, usually means nothing at all.

How can I pay?

After the joint sign-off by Girocard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, cash or bank transfer. You always receive a proper invoice by email. Businesses and property managers pay on invoice with 14 days' terms.

Is there a discount for several jobs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a substantial one. Each additional shelf in the same room costs €25, each additional ceiling light €39. For a complete flat we quote a package price that is usually 20 to 30 % below the sum of the individual prices.

Can you drill into any wall?

Accepted Answer

Into all common wall structures: concrete, solid brick, hollow brick, sand-lime block, aerated concrete, plasterboard and tile. Before every hole we check for live cables, metal and cavities with a detector. For listed or unusual walls we take a look first.

Are you a registered electrical contractor?

Accepted Answer

We carry out electrical work within the permitted scope to VDE standards — connecting a light or a cooker to an existing, properly protected connection point, for example. Interventions in the fixed installation, new cabling or work on the fuse box belong with a registered electrical contractor. We tell you openly which applies in your case.

What about rented flats?

Drill holes in the usual number count as contractual use. We drill as little as possible and keep the holes small so filling them at move-out stays easy. For larger interventions we recommend a short written agreement with the landlord.

Are you insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we hold business liability insurance with cover of 5.000.000 €. If damage occurs during installation, it is covered. We are happy to show the certificate of insurance on request.

What if something works loose weeks later?

Statutory warranty applies to our work. If a fixing we installed wobbles, we come and put it right free of charge. Material or design faults in the furniture itself are the manufacturer's responsibility — but we will help you assess it.

Question 15

Do I get an invoice for tax purposes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In Germany, tradesperson services in your own household are 20 % tax-deductible on the labour element under § 35a EStG, up to €1,200 per year. To make that work we show labour and material separately and you pay cashlessly.
