Electric cooker installation & connection
An electric cooker draws up to 11 kW across three phases. Wired wrongly, that is not a small slip but a fire risk — which is why the cooker connection is the one point in the kitchen where improvising is genuinely not an option.

We connect electric cookers, built-in ovens, induction and ceramic hobs to existing cooker connection boxes: checking the supply cable, setting the links per the manufacturer's wiring diagram, tightening terminals to the correct torque, fitting strain relief and testing every cooking zone and the oven. We then check the protective earth and insulation and document the result for you.

Good to know
- Check in advance whether a cooker connection box exists — a standard plug is usually not sufficient for cookers.
- Have the appliance data sheet ready; the wiring diagram determines the link configuration.
- We take the old appliance away for a small disposal fee.
